Just heard about Paul Walker.

Without sounding too insensitive; I sometimes hear stories about the untimely passing of a celebrity and think "Oh well". For example, had this been Lindsay Lohan, I would be throwing a party. This is not one of those instances.

Paul Walker rings hard in this community because of his movie career in an automotive based film series, but this is not why I liked Paul Walker. Paul was cast to the original Fast and Furious as a lead role because he fit the part, not because he was a gear head. The film series however, had a different reaction on Paul, and turned him into a gear head. He them built off his passion for vehicles and continued his career acting in the Fast and Furious franchise. I liked Paul because he allowed himself to become so immersed in a role as a gear head, that he actually became a gear head.

Paul was also a down to earth kind of guy. I once had to send a team to one of his houses to complete some work. While I was not personally on site, he was. My team came back to the office and informed me that he was there, and was talking with them, making jokes, and just a generally friendly guy. This is the kind of guy Paul Walker was, and it should be known that he was an all around good guy.

R.I.P. It's always the good ones that die young.

I just logged on to post the same thing, he was a great guy. My friend met him and from what he said Paul was really cool about pictures and even played along with him quoting F&F movies.
